ALS

Kyle and I are participating in the ALS walk to Defeat this weekend!
This really means a lot to us as Kyle's grandpa passed away from
the devastating disease 5 years ago.  Also known as Lou Gehrig's
disease it is a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord
that control voluntary muscle movement and it eventually takes
over the entire body.

There is no cure and we hope to change that soon!

Keaton's 3rd Birthday!!

My little angel turned 3 on Monday!!! I can't believe I have a 3 year old and I just couldn't be more in love with him! He is so entertaining and just cracks us up everyday! You wouldn't believe the things that comes out of this kids mouth, he's so polite and just has a heart of gold. I love you Mr. Keaton...HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had such a busy weekend!! On Friday Aunt Amanda and DeeDee came over so that we could make Birthday Cupcakes! Keaton was so excited and they turned out delicious! Thanks DeeDee and Aunt Amanda for making the baking so special!

FYI-Everyday he wants to wear his boots, cowboy belt, and cowboy hat!

Afterwards Kyle and I met up with our good friends, Summer and Jordan, for some yummy Lupe Tortilla food and margaritas! I wish I had taken a pic of the 4 of us but we had such a great time with them and I can't wait to do it again soon!!!

Then Saturday was Keaton's big birthday party! We had originally scheduled it to be outside in my parents backyard with a big bouncer but on Friday we decided to change it due to the weather forecast and thank God we did!! It was pouring on Saturday so thankfully Inflatable Zone had a party room available and everything worked out perfect! The kids had a blast and Keaton couldn't have been any happier!

THEN...after his party Kyle and I went with our friends, Julie and Justin, to go see Brooks and Dunn at the Houston Rodeo. I love Brooks and Dunn and this is their last tour together so it was great to see them again! We had an awesome time and felt lucky that we got to go out 2 nights in a row!! =)

Sunday had some more excitement! Keaton's second cousin, Cori, turned 2!! We headed to Houston for another jumping party!! Jumping never gets old with these kids though and they of course had a blast!! Happy Birthday Cori!!

Monday was his actual birthday so we went to Denny's for Chocolate Chip pancakes and then played at the mall all day. That evening we had his grandparents over for dinner and he got to open his presents from us. For a month all he has been asking for is a chainsaw so he finally got what he wanted and was so excited!!!

Rodeo and Girls Night

We took the kiddos to our town rodeo and had so much fun! Keaton made a very handsome cowboy and loved watching the horses! The barrel racing was his favorite, he takes after his momma! =) Karter was an angel and slept most of the time. The next morning we went to the parade and Keaton had a blast catching candy and of course an even better time eating it!

Kyle left that weekend for a bachelor party in New Orleans so my parents kept the kiddos for me so I could have my own night out...YAY!! Some girlfriends and I went out to eat some yummy Mexican food, drink delicious margaritas, and catch up on some much needed girltalk! Then we went out for some dancing and of course more girltalk! Mommies so need these kind of nights!
