Bring It On 2010

I LOVE not knowing the future! I always find myself looking back at pictures and saying, "and at that time I had no idea that __________ would happen."

Don't know what I'm talking about? For example I'll look at my Homecoming picture with Kyle from 1997 and think, "Gosh, I had NO IDEA that the guy I was standing next to would be my husband one day!!"

Get it now?

I just LOVE those moments!

So with a new year starting I am sooo excited to see what God will do with our lives!

2009 ended with a wonderful Christmas and 2010 started by celebrating the New Year with great friends!!
Christmas was so much fun this year because Keaton is older and really understood what was going on! He loves talking about Santa but when I took him and Karter to see the big man, he wanted absolutely nothing to do with him so Karter had her picture taken alone with Santa! =) We then had 3 full days filled with Christmas activities! Christmas Eve we went to church and all came over to our house for snacks and drinks while the kids hung out. We also made Gingerbread houses which was so much fun! Keaton had a hard time not eating it! He actually snuck the chimney into his mouth and I didn't realize it until I was trying to find it and heard him crunching next to me! haha! After we were done and took some pictures with it he ate the candy directly off the house with his mouth! So cute, we had a lot of fun!

Christmas morning was spent at our house, just the 4 of us, and after opening our presents and relaxing while Keaton played with his new toys we headed to my parents house for Christmas with them and my sisters.

Then the day after Christmas we went to Kyle's parents house and opened presents and had lunch, then all his cousins came over for more gift exchanging and dinner! It was a wonderful holiday spent with family!!

Karter's adorable Christmas outfit!! =)

I woke up to this little guy in his PJs, boots, and backpack!! =)

New Years Eve we went to our friends Julie and Justin's house. It was so much fun to see everyone because we hadn't all been together in a while so I really enjoyed it! They had yummy food, yummy drinks, and great company! =) It's funny because last year when I was living in CO I blogged about how I missed celebrating New Years with that group like I had the year before. Now this year I was celebrating with them again...so glad to be back!!
Hope everyone has the best 2010!! =)
