Independence Day

Since Kyle and I started dating back in 1997 we have gone with his family and 2 other families (which are really more like extended family than friends!!) every year to Garner State Park. It is always so much fun and is just such a special place to us!

Keaton left a few days earlier with DeeDee and Snow and then Kyle and I made it there with Karter. We talked to Keaton multiple times a day and he kept saying he missed Karter and told DeeDee and Snow multiple times that he wished Karter was there with him...so precious! =)

When we arrived Keaton was soooo excited to see us, my heart just melted, he's such a sweet boy! He kept saying, "I missed yall sooooo much when I was here at Garner!" He continues to say this to me and it is now weeks later, ha! Don't get me wrong though, he had a blast there without us! =)

We just had such a wonderful time! I'm always in heaven when I get to spend time with my hubby and kids and then having everyone else there made it even better! Our days consisted of hanging out at the campsite and tubing on the river and then at night once the kids were asleep we would all come to our campsite and play dominoes or just visit over drinks. The weather didn't cooperate and was only sunny a few hours a day (if that) but it didn't matter, we still had a blast! Keaton LOVED tubing and has started singing George Strait, " I remember that ole' Frio River, where I learned to swim." =)
