Right now I am on a Scentsy HIGH!!

We had a training yesterday, Scentsy Sprint, and it was amazing to hear some of the success stories of other consultants! I had never been to a Scentsy training and it was...WOW! The people that I work for are AMAZING! They are so concerned with giving back, not only to their consultants but to their community! They reward us with cruises, IPAD, Kindles, you name it! AND our charity warmer for the Fall/Winter catalog made about $500,000 to give to Susan G. Comen in CASH! Our next charity warmer is Autism so hopefully it will be just as successful!

Some of these women yesterday just blew me away, they are really banking and it got me so excited and pumped about doing more with my business. I know the more I put into it the more I'll get out and honestly I've done really well without doing much at all so I'm excited to see what putting even more effort into it will do! =)

I signed up to sell it about a year and half ago and I'm shocked at how my business has grown. I really signed up to just make a little extra money here and there but wasn't thinking about really moving up the ladder or anything. I LOVED the product so I thought it would be the perfect way to make extra money! Then once I signed up I got a few people signed up under me and did some parties and sales increased and I found myself moving up without having to do much at all! I aimed to do 1 party a month, that's it, and it was a fun night with other women away from the kids and they just love the product so I don't feel like I'm really pushing something on them, they just truly want it and that's why they come back to buy more!

If you or anyone you know has been looking for something to make some extra money this month is actually perfect because you would pay the same starter kit price ($99) but you would get the Fall/Winter scents and catalogs that are closing out AND the new Spring/Summer scents and catalogs that start in March! If you sign up after Feb you just get the Spring/Summer. That's really all you need but it's nice to have those older catalogs as your "throw aways" I guess you could call them so you could pass them out, leave them at salons, dr. offices, etc to advertise and get people to contact you! Also a lot of the Fall/Winter scents return during the next Fall/Winter catalog so you'd already have some of those scent testers! Just more for your money! =)

Once you signed up, how would you get started?? The BEST way to get started is to host an Open House. I had mine on a Thursday from about 6-9 and invited neighbors, friends, family...anybody and tell them to bring some friends! Then I had a few snacks and drinks, nothing too fancy and let people come and go to smell the scents and view the catalogs. This party introduces everybody to your product and then you will usually get a party booked by somebody and then the ball is rolling! You can also enter your party on your website so if you have any out of town or out of state family or friends that wanted to order they can still order to benefit your party! And you're the host so you would receive ALL the free and 1/2 priced products which is a great way to gain some stock (that you didn't pay full price for!) to keep at your house when people need to buy a quick gift! =)

Canada and More!

September has started so that means tons of new things are going on at Scentsy!!

1. September's warmer of the month is this adorable Jack-O-Lantern and the Scent of the Month is Spiced Carmel Sugar...YUM! This warmer and scent is 10% off this month so get it before Halloween! 2. Anyone Know Anyone in CANADA!?! Do you live in Canada? Starting October 1st, Scentsy will have the ability to sell to and recruit team members in Canada. There aren't ANY consultants in Canada right now. Just imagine if you could be the very first consultant in an entire country. Your team would grow massively and so would your paycheck. Canadians have an amazing opportunity to get in on the company while it is brand new to their area. The first Scentsy consultant in America brings in a nice little paycheck of $75K a month! Wouldn't that be nice! =) You can sign up from my website starting Oct 1st to become one of the first Canadian consultants! This is when you take my bag of smaller scent testers, catalogs, and order forms to work, your kids games/practices, share it with family and friends, anyone you can think of! It's an easy way to make lots of sales and earn your free stuff without having an actual party at your house. You can keep my stuff for a week or two while you make your rounds and then when you bring it back to me, we calculate how much free stuff you've earned! =) EASY!

The Bachelorette and Other Stuff!

OK so I said in my last TV post how I was sad that Reid was gone and even hoped that MAYBE he would come back but then retracted that saying it was wishful thinking and too much drama. Apparently I had forgotten that this was reality TV we're talking about here and there's no such thing as "too much drama"! Did you happen to watch the previews for the season finale coming up on Monday??? Did you see who shows up with a ring?? REID!!!!! =) I'm so excited, my wish came true! hehe!! I would love for her to pick him but my prediction is going to be Ed...blah!! So I can't wait until Monday night to watch what happens! Ahhh, I love this show! =)

Keaton found one of my old dolls in the closet yesterday and started carrying it around saying it was his baby. It was the cutest thing and he was so good to it. He's going to be an amazing big brother! He rocked it in his arms and would say, "love!". When it was nap time he said, "baby sleep too!" and tucked it in and gave it a kiss goodnight. Then later he said it had a boo boo and gave it's boo boo a kiss. It was just too cute to watch and I think it will be great for him to pretend with his baby while mommy holds her new baby! I don't look at this as if my son is playing with dolls, oh no...my son is practicing to be a big brother! Plus the doll is a boy so it's not too bad! =)

Last update... Scentsy is going GREAT! I hosted another party last night and had so much fun! I'm really just loving selling this amazing product! It's so easy to enjoy selling something when you truly like the product you're selling! Weekend Wrap-Up

This weekend was a busy one but so much fun because it was spent with childhood friends and family!

On Saturday I went to my friend Paige's baby shower. She looks soooo amazing and is just beautiful pregnant! It was so good to see her and her twin sister, Stacey! The 3 of us have so many memories growing up together and still after all these years we are so close! We don't get to see each other as much as we would like (we all left the state for a while) but now that we're all back in Texas at the same time hopefully we'll be seeing more of each other! The shower was a lot of fun and I got some ideas for things to register/ask for...hello diaper bag!! =) Love it Paige!

Then that evening I went to another friend that I've known since Elementary, Kristel's, wedding reception. Her and TJ got married in May and are expecting a little girl in July! They make such a cute couple and I am so happy for them! The dinner was a lot of fun and seeing more friends was a blast.

Sunday we went to Kyle's family reunion and had a great time with cousins, etc. Most of the people we didn't know but Kyle's mom really enjoyed showing off her kids and especially Keaton to everyone! My aunt asked me to bring my Scentsy stuff so she could look at it and all morning I kept reminding myself not to forget it so by the time we were half way to El Campo I remembered the diaper bag. Actually I remembered that I had forgotten the diaper bag, hehe! But of course I didn't forget my Scentsy stuff!! =) Keaton was fine because I borrowed diapers from our cousin but he was barefoot the whole day because of it. Oh well, I really don't think anybody even noticed! He sure didn't seem to mind! My aunts and cousins loved Scentsy and I got my first orders. I am just loving this stuff! You'd think I would calm down after the initial excitement but I just seem to get more into it! =) I think that's a good thing though, it means I'm enjoying what I'm doing, right?!

Monday continued to be fun and spent with friends. I met JoDee for lunch and shopping (without Mr. Keaton!!) so it was a wonderful time! We loved catching up and it was nice to walk around with another adult and have some time to myself! Moms just have to have that!

I am feeling very blessed for the long friendships and family that I have! I hope everyone else had a great weekend too!

New Endeavor

Did you notice the new addition to my blog? Not yet? Over there on the top right, see it! =)Well, I am VERY excited to tell yall about my new hobby/job! I am now selling Scentsy candles and I can't tell you how excited I am! Seriously, I am such a nerd, it's ridiculous! I can't fall asleep because I'm thinking about it so much and after I wake up at 4 AM to pee (this baby never gives me a break during the night!) I can't go back to sleep for the same reason! I think about all the things I could print out, parties, which scents I like... I told you I was a nerd! =)
Seriously though I just LOVE this stuff! They are wickless/flameless candles so they can burn for 24 hours a day (like a lamp) and you don't have to worry about burning your house down if you accidentally leave it on! A bulb melts the wax and it fills the whole room with whatever yummy scent you picked out! The bulb doesn't get too hot either so if you, your kids or pets touch the warmer or the wax you wont get burned! They're also a lot prettier than candles! My candles always turn black around the glass and start looking really ugly, these don't and there's so many styles you're bound to find one to go with your house decor! They also have plug ins (which I love for the bathroom or kitchen because they don't take up counter space!), room spray, and car candles. Basket parties are an easy way to qualify for free stuff without having people over.
